Family Frog Night
April 24, 2000

Frogs come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Some are bigger than Daddy's hand, and some are as small as Josiah's toenail. Some are cute and some are really ugly. This week we made frogs for family night. We started with green construction paper, glue, a few crayons, a medium sized plate and a small juice cup.

Using the plate, Daddy drew circles on the paper. Then he drew four small circles for every big circle he drew. Daddy cut out one big circle and four smaller circle. We folded the big circle in half to make the body, and folded two of the smaller circles in half to make the eyes.
Then we colored the body, put dots for the eyes on two of the smaller folded circles, and drew feet on the other two. We drew a tongue inside, and then glued the eyes and feet on.
