Family Tree Night
July 10, 2000

Tonight we made family trees. Mama gave us each a big piece of white paper. Then she helped us cut tree trunks out of brown paper and glue them on to the white paper. Then she help us use green paper to make leaves. We glued these onto our tree trunks. This is the stuff we used to make our trees.

Then daddy scanned in pictures of us, daddy, mama, Nana and Grandpa, Grandma and Grandpa and printed them on stickers.

Before we got to put the stickers on the trees, daddy showed us pictures of all of my family. We saw a picture of the baby in mama's tummy.

We saw pictures of Mama's family and Daddy's family. I still don't understand why daddy says that grandpa is his daddy. I know that he is grandpa, not daddy's daddy. I think daddy is trying to trick me in to thinking that grandpa is his daddy.

Then we both stuck our pictures on the trunk of the tree. We also put a sticker for the new baby on the trunk too. Then we stuck on stickers for Mama and Daddy, then Grandma and Grandpa, and Nana and Grandpa. We took the pictures and put them up on the hall on the wall.
